Helicopter applying herbicide in Northern Ontario
The Drip Torch is used for controlled burns. The slash left over from a logging block is piled and set fire. This helps prevent unwanted spread of fungus and other forest diseases and makes room for better reforestation.
We use transport trucks with specialized equipment to mix and load herbicide for forestry work. The trailor is outfitted with a helicopter pad, fuel, mix, chemical and water tanks. This system allows for the safe, spill-free and effecient loading of helicopters operating in remote areas.
